Our Beliefs

The Bible is the infallible, incorruptible,  inspired Word of God; written by chosen men, through the empowering of the Holy Spirit.

Our God is One, but manifested in three distinct persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to earth, lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried, resurrected, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.

Salvation is a free gift of God to man through faith in Jesus Christ. Each person is to repent of their sins, believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, and confess Him as Lord and Savior according to Romans 10:9-10.

Baptism in water by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. It is an outward symbol of the inward change that takes place when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Healing is a right of redemption to every believer today provided through the broken body of Jesus and His death on the Cross.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift and is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. As Jesus stated in Acts 1:8, it adds power to the Christian's life. It is to be part of our daily walk with the Lord.

Eternity: Man was created to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

The Gifts of the Spirit, as detailed in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, are evident in our worship services. These include word of knowledge, word of wisdom, special faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophesy, tongues and interpretation, and discerning of spirits.

At Cleveland Christian Fellowship, we place strong emphasis on the integrity of the Bible and teach that as we believe and act on God’s Word, we will get the same results as they did in the Bible. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! (Hebrews 13:8). We firmly believe that it is God’s desire to meet man’s need spirit, soul, and body. We are a growing, vibrant church where Jesus is proclaimed as Lord, and God is allowed to move by His Spirit.
