Senior Pastors
Mark Strickland is the founding pastor of Cleveland Christian Fellowship. He is a 1979 graduate of Rhema Bible College, and is ordained through the Rhema Ministerial Association, International. A pastor of pastors, Pastor Mark served as the District Director for Rhema Ministerial Association for 17 years. They have two daughters: Sheila and Heather.
Rev. John Mathis and Sheila Mathis
Associate Pastors
John and Sheila are the associate pastors at Cleveland Christian Fellowship. They met at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK in 1993 and were married in 1995. They have two children, Matthew and Christina. Matthew is a junior at Covenant College. Christina is married to Caleb Arnwine and have two sons, Jeremiah and Judah. Together, they serve as youth pastors at Cleveland Christian. John is originally from Elgin, TX and is a 1996 graduate of Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, OK. Sheila has called Cleveland, TN home since 1983 and is on staff as a high school teacher at Cleveland Christian School.
